Donald Blake Buchanan

Blake is an electrical engineer and patent attorney. Blake worked as an electrical engineer both in the civil industry and for government contractors before completing law school at Southern Methodist University. Blake gained experience in patent law in both a boutique intellectual property firm and a large regional general practice firm before returning to the development and innovation side of emerging technology. Blake combines a background in hardware and software development with his intellectual property law skills to provide a unique business and engineering perspective in product design, business development, and patent prosecution. Outside of work, Blake, his wife, and 3 year old son value investing in the community and enjoying the outdoors. Blake's current passion is passing on his scratch golfing skills to his son.
