Ms. Canterberry is an amazing person. I am 23 years old and the father of a wonderful little boy who has been living with me since he was 14 days old. His mother, 20, had a lot of personal mental health issues, lived in another state, and by her own admission, did not want to be a mother. When our so...n was 5 months old, she decided that she wanted to be a mother and wanted her son back, even though she had only visited with him for a total of 4 hours in a 5 month period of time. I didn't know what to do, but Ms. Canterberry did. She walked me step by step through the whole process of engaging in a child custody case. She helped me make sense of all the legal jumbo. She answered my many questions and calmed my fears. I was so afraid the court would take my son away because I was male and unmarried, a fear his mother kept alive by telling me over and over again, that Texas was a mommy state and would rule in her favor. But Ms. Canterberry just dug in and prepared me for the fight. After all was said and done, I was granted legal and primary custody of my son. Ms. Canterberry helped make that happen and I am so grateful. She was understanding and supportive, even allowing a poor 23 year old to make payments on his bill, so that a happy little boy and his proud daddy could stay together.

I am very thankful for finding Lisa on this site. I went through a long, drawn out divorce and child custody case with lots of twists along the way.
