Ana Pace, is the Gold Standard when it comes to Estate Planning and Probate. This is her, "wheelhouse " and she is an expert that i will use time and time again should the need arise.I wish I had enlisted her services when I first started my mother's estate probate process in August of 2020. Instead,... I hired an attorney who put on a good show, but had zero expertise in the Estate Probate ring. I was constantly fed excuses as to the probate hold ups, and I was being billed for every single issue that arose which resulted in a constant redo of paperwork and petition letters. I was assigned 4 different attorneys from within the firm and everytime a new attorney was assigned, the entire process started all over, however, I was still being charged and billed every month. After 2 1/2 years and $15,000.00, I literally had zero to show for and I was no closer to a court date to determine executorship of my mother's estate. I was feeling as if the process would never end. Upon a recommendation froma close friend, I arranged a consultation and met with Ana to determine, "what are my options, and where can I go from here." Having just spent $15k and lost 2 1/2 years in the process, I didn't think there was much hope and that I was stuck with what I had. I was never more wrong, Ana, was that reaching hand that saved me when I was drowning. Ana thoroughly explained the process to me and what she could do to rectify the jumbled up mess my previous attorney had created. Almost instantly, I experienced a sense of calm come over me, this is the attorney I should've hired to begin with. While most attorneys dabble in matters across the board, and nickel and dime you at every step, Ana specializes in Estate matters and walks you through every process along the way charging a low flat rate. There were no hidden surprises, no additional fees for redrafting or re-filing of papers/letters due to attorney mistakes. I am so very thankful Ana was able to salvage my case from my previous attorney. Ana was not only able to salvage the mess but she additionally got my case before the courts and successfully completed my wishes in a very short time at a fraction of what I had previously paid. If there is one piece of advice I can give to the individual(s) reading this review; give Ana a call and let her do what she specializes in...deliver results! Ana assisted our family with a complex case that involved multiple facets of Probate Law as well as Texas Constitutional Rights. When selecting a respectable law firm to assist in probate issues was not an easy task, well I was very fortunate. I selected the Shutt Law Firm PLLC . After one face to face visit, my attorney, Mrs. Ana Pace, was a very caring and understanding individual (I just lost my son and he did not have a ...will and I live 6 hours away). She provided all of the facts (even provided a handout detailing the process and overview), prepared the appropriate documentation and coordinated with the court to get the earliest appointment available (via Zoom) so that I could become the Administrator of my son’s estate as soon as possible, as many things had to be accomplished (home mortgage, cars, funds for his children, utility bills, phone, cable, a few odd ones, and of course Credit cards). Ms. Ana even provided a kit to assist me in handling/dealing with the credit card companies. All these actions were accomplished within 2 ½ months after visiting the law firm, which I heard it ,normally would have taken 6 to 8 months. Therefore, without a doubt, I would highly recommend this law firm to anyone who needs to accomplish a will, a trust or probate issues. What a surprise here. I am 93 years old trying to figure out what to do with the remnants of my long life. My grandson has contacted the Shutt Law Firm to help me with estate planning at this stage of my life. A young lawyer by the name of Ana showed up and made me feel like I was a member of the fam...ily immediately. Not only was she very knowledgeable but she made me feel so much at ease that it was a pleasure talking to her. She spent some time interviewing me and asking me questions about my past and family. I was really anxious to find out all options I had. She explained the advantages of the various options. Having been through a lot of time spent in various probate courts over the years I had decided that I did not want a will with its obligations. I had already through another attorney executed transfer on death of my two houses and my tree farm in Polk County. Ana checked into them and found that the wording was not to my best interest. Ana explained the various options and she drew up papers necessary to transfer all my properties out of my wife's name to take care of past failures to record certain things. Her expertise on all of this was outstanding. I would recommend her and the Law Firm to anyone. I want to apologize for any inconvenience that she may have endured but she was a real trooper.
