also known as Becker Family Law
Keith D. Becker is a Board Certified Family Law Specialist by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, a rigorous distinction he has maintained continuously since 1998 with successful re-certifications in 2003, 2008, 2013, 2018, and 2023. With more than 33 years of dedicated experience practicing exclusively in Texas family law, Keith is recognized as one of the most experienced and trusted family law attorneys serving Prosper, Celina, Frisco, McKinney, Sherman, Denton, and throughout North Texas.
Keith focuses his practice on complex, high-stakes family law matters, including high-conflict divorces, contested child custody and visitation disputes, property division, child support, modifications, and family law appeals. After decades of successful courtroom advocacy—including nearly 50 jury trials, more than 30 appeals, and hundreds of bench trials and mediations—he now also serves as a family law mediator with North Texas Litigation Solutions. This dual perspective allows him to aggressively litigate when necessary while skillfully guiding clients toward efficient, out-of-court resolutions that keep families in control of their futures.
A graduate of Western New England University School of Law (J.D., 1990) and Syracuse University (B.S. with honors, 1987), Keith was licensed to practice law in Texas in 1992. He is admitted to all Texas state courts and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas. His professional leadership includes serving as Chair of the Family Law Section of the Dallas Bar Association, and he previously taught Family Law and Civil Procedure as an adjunct professor at Southwestern Paralegal College.
Keith’s commitment to excellence has earned him repeated recognition as a Texas Super Lawyer (2021–2026) and the distinction of “Best Family Law Attorney Under 40” by D Magazine early in his career. Clients consistently praise his strategic insight, clear communication, and compassionate yet results-driven approach during some of life’s most difficult transitions.
