Todd Donald Shapiro

Whomever is looking for a top-notch criminal defense lawyer (or any of Todd's areas of practice), my wife and I have been sincerely blown away by Todd. We had NO idea where to go to find a highly competent lawyer for our family's situation, but needed some highly skilled expertise to help us with ou...r issue. Through tons of online research and reviews, we reached out to two different lawyers that seemed to have very favorable feedback (one of which was Todd). Honestly, both lawyers were quite capable and impressive. However, Todd (and his father, for that matter) was unbelievably accessible and responsive. I'm not saying that folks should take advantage of his willingness to be available at any hour, but I will say that (depending upon one's circumstance), it provided such solace for my wife and me. He has a calm demeanor and is an excellent listener. However, he also shoots straight with you and helps you assess your situation and understand the potential ramifications / risks / outcomes. I would recommend Todd Shapiro to any of my friends / family without hesitation and hope that this review helps others who may also be in a difficult life situation quickly have some comfort and confidence that Todd is an excellent choice as you understand your legal options.

Let me start by saying, Todd Shapiro is not the lawyer I hired. I hired a criminal defense lawyer for my wife after an aggravated assault charge and have been extremely disappointed by his lack of performance, and advice. Since feeling dissatisfied with my experience, I called a few lawyers in the ...Collin County area and found Mr. Shapiro's website. Not only did he have great reviews, but his website looked extremely professional. I emailed him for a free consultation, and within minutes I already had a response. He was considerate, listened to my situation, and was extremely helpful. I learned more in the 20 minute conversation I had on the phone than in the 6 months with my wife's current lawyer. He offered to assist me as much as possible, despite my financial difficulties I currently experience, and was not what you expect a lawyer to be. Trust me when I say, humanity and having someone legitimately want to help you goes a long way. At this time, I thoroughly wish I had chosen Mr. Shapiro to represent my wife, because he is more than just a lawyer out to make money. He understands the harsh situations families may go through, and he wants to help. If that doesn't scream a man who has found more than a career, but a passion for helping people, I don't know what else does. All I can say is if you call Mr. Shapiro, you will see the professionalism, kindness and dedication he has to his clients- even the one's he doesn't even represent!

After receiving my fourth DWI , I was very scared and needed an experienced , no bull type of lawyer. Todd is the ultimate professional and a extremely knowledgeable lawyer. Starting my search for a lawyer I did not know what to look for, but once I met with a couple of Dallas lawyers he was recommended. After our first meeting I knew he was the right person to trust with basically my freedom as I ha...d been charged with a serious DUI Felony. He explained all the scenarios and possibilities and made no guarantees besides making me feel comfortable that he would put all of his efforts into ensuring I would be given a fair chance of not going to prison. Not only is Todd great at his job but the staff there too especially Christy. Even though my trial ended 4 years ago I can still call Todd and the staff today with questions. He returns call and emails without hesitation with the information I need. The Shapiro law firm made it clear that I can always go to them no matter what problems or questions I may have. I personally think that Todd Shapiro is the most competent attorney in Collin County if not the DFW area. Todd went out of his way to always be there for me and my son. Todd always worked his hardest to achieve the best results and always treated us with the up most respect. I just cannot say enough ...good things about Todd.
