Very Responsive. Outstanding Followup!

I retained Dan Atkerson as my attorney to assist me with a potential age discrimination case against my former employer. After he reviewed the facts he accepted my case and immediately notified my former company of my complaint and demand for a revision to the original settlement offer. He negotiated... and was able to triple the original offer. While we never had a face to face meeting and all of our contact was either via telephone or email, I found Dan to be very responsive and consistent with his followup. He definitely knows how to position a demand for settlement in a way that gets results. I would highly recommend Dan if you should ever need an attorney.

Bully Lawyer that love promoting his 30 or 32 year career only

I told Dan that my employer was not interested in a settlement. ..I think he thought if he told my former employer about his career and 30/32 years as an attorney and they would just settle on his credentials...He wasted my time...didn't communicate...threatened to sue me if I did a review....oh yea ...he did the same thing to me as the previous client...once my former employer declined settlement he did not contact me...I contacted him and he let me know at that moment he couldn't represent me in a lawsuit...That was what I was going to him for...he had emotional responses said he want let me steal from him or his family...huh.??? Now I am a thief....I hate I contacted this law office....So Dan you can sue me because of my opinion that is no where near false...

I was a client of Dan Atkerson on a disability discrimination case in regards to reasonable accomodation. I had a car accident and was fired from my employer after giving them a copy of my doctor's note. I contacted him for help and he did not communicate or respond in an effective manner considering... that my claim was time sensitive. I was threatened if I placed a review for slander and my statements were not false. I would not recommend this lawyer because he doesn't care about the needs of his client.

I care about the needs of all my clients, and I that is why I have been a successful lawyer for 32 years in Texas. I tried to help this lady even though she only had a seasonal low paying job that would have only lasted about 6 more weeks only regardless after her termination. She never paid me a dime, and I do not charge any fees at all unless I obtain a settlement or recovery. She only hired me to send a settlement demand letter to the company, and that is what I did for free. I got a response from the employer in less than 3 weeks after sending it, and that is a normal turnaround time. She did not like the response but I cannot control how a company responds or how fast they respond. Thus, her statement above that I did not communicate or respond in an effective manner is a lie and false and slanderous. I told her upfront before she hired me to send a demand letter that I could not take the case for filing of a court lawsuit, and she never hired me to file a lawsuit on her case. She still has plenty of time to file a lawsuit if she wants with or without another lawyer. I simply asked her not to slander me online but she persists and does not appreciate that I tried to help her for free. However, I cannot be bullied into taking a case for lengthy lawsuit on contingency that has very little monetary value when her seasonal low paying job was ending anyway about 6 weeks after her termination. Call me and judge me and my services for yourself.
