Very Responsive. Outstanding Followup!

I retained Dan Atkerson as my attorney to assist me with a potential age discrimination case against my former employer. After he reviewed the facts he accepted my case and immediately notified my former company of my complaint and demand for a revision to the original settlement offer. He negotiated... and was able to triple the original offer. While we never had a face to face meeting and all of our contact was either via telephone or email, I found Dan to be very responsive and consistent with his followup. He definitely knows how to position a demand for settlement in a way that gets results. I would highly recommend Dan if you should ever need an attorney.

Excellent service obtained

Odd experience

Hired him for discrimination claim against employer. And without good explanation he dropped the case leaving me frantically searching for new attorney. Never meet face to face. And only corresponded through email. Not reliable.

I have been a practicing attorney for 32 years with a spotless record with the State Bar of Texas. I pride myself on excellent and prompt client communications. I have no idea who posted this but guarantee you they never paid me a dime because I only charge a fee if I win. I do cases in two phases: pre-lawsuit and then lawsuit if the case cannot be resolved and if there are sufficient grounds to file a lawsuit. If I did not further pursue the case to litigation it was because there were not sufficient grounds to pursue it, and the client pays me nothing unless I recover money for them. So I tried to help this person, got paid nothing and was trashed when I could not proceed further.
