Probate Intervention

Ms. Coffin filed an intervening petition for a probate case that I was involved in. Although she primarily works in Family Law, she handled this case without any problems. Thanks to her petition we actually got our issues resolved in only a few weeks after dealing with scheduling hearings for about 3... months. If she had not intervened I am convinced that the case could have gotten dragged out much much longer.

Courtney was caring, trustworthy...

Being a single military Soldier is hard and everything has a myths that Soldier not being great single parents. I cannot count how many different attorney i contacted to help me with my case. And how many told me my case would be difficult. I met with Courtney and she made me feel confident with my c...ase. She did a great job for me as my child custody attorney. She fought hard for me in my case and she delivered everything that was mostly important to me on the child custody battle. I normally don't write or care for reviews but I know Mrs. Courtney will be there for you in your difficult time and she will fight for you like she did for me. She is amazing and a very smart woman. She works hard for all her clients as she did for me. She won my case. Thanks Courtney.

Very unprofessional, horrible communication and careless.

I hired the previous firm where Courtney was employed to handle my case. I was told that it was a simple case and at first I thought she was a secretary or a paralegal, she was never introduced to me as an attorney. Then on the morning of my first day in court I was abruptly notified that she was "...my attorney" First of all, she was NOT familiar with the court procedures or with the way a case like mine was supposed to be handled. After that day everything went to hell...nothing was done right, starting with a motion NOT matching the petition. Also, my case was filed at the wrong court house. Courtney and her firm made my life miserable with their mistakes and lies. Yes LIES, they kept lying to me about almost everything. She would not return my phone calls, she would not keep me informed about anything on my case, even when I asked her and her firm to let me know anything regardless of the day and or time. After a very, very long time waiting for my case to be done and done right....she notified me by email that she was no longer with the firm because she had found another job" oh, but someone else was going to take care of my case! Just like that..not even a courtesy call. Very unprofessional individual. By the way, did I mention that I had to hire another law firm to work my case because she messed up everything from the beginning and I had to start all over again. After over two years wasted, I absolutely do not recommend Courtney Lynn Coffin for any legal representation.

Courtney is Awesome in Dallas Family Court

Courtney Lynn Coffin was remarkably well-prepared to represent me as a father in divorce. At our first court hearing she won for me an overwhelming victory that provided my family with stability and safety. At the second hearing, she negotiated a fair agreement with my ex-wife that also protects our... children's best interest. She works hard to do the important things first and to keep legal costs down. She believes in father's rights and has been remarkably successful in helping me to achieve my goals. Courtney is a fierce warrior in the courtroom and a skilled diplomat in the hallway. I highly recommend Courtney Lynn Coffin as a family law attorney.
