Paid him close to $10k and he couldn't show up to court 5 times. He kept sending an assistant or didn't show up at all. I take it that he might've had other courts to attend, but in that case, he should not have taken on another case that was out of his area. We requested the refund several times via... texts and email, he never would respond. He was fired and we hired another attorney that made us feel hopeful. The only times I was able to speak to Lon, was when giving the card payment over the phone, cash in hand and once more when he was upset about being fired. I recommend that he not take on too many cases at once if not able to be successfully communicated with all. Over 2 years have passed and still no sign of refund!

Communication with his clients and his general professionalism needs to be improved on his behalf, especially when dealing with a sensitive criminal case. There was a lack of concern in how he handled our case and a lack of follow up updates. A lawyer that has been retained should by all means at lea...st be able to give regular updates on a case.
