Excellence! Sherin is one of the most aggressive lawyers I’ve ever met. There is no way that we would’ve been even remotely successful without her tenacity to serve her clients with full aspiration of success. I’ve watched my parents suffer physically and emotionally with immigration issues. With ...Sherin in a different state and time running out for my parents, I was hesitant to think how is she different from the lawyers we had hired in California. I’m very thankful that my family members in Texas heard her show over the radio and referred us to Sherin and pushed us to give out last hope to Sherin. She might be in a different state but that didn’t stop her from fulfilling our needs and exercising our rights to this country. She is great with keeping in touch, from video calls to emails to phone calls to texting. She gives realistic advice and doesn’t play with your money as we had multiple other lawyers do to us. She knows how to get in touch with ICE officers and knows how to communicate with them. I wish I knew her earlier. But better late than never. She took on our case when big law firms in Los Angeles wouldn’t and delivered with positive results. -Kindal K.

Hello, Once she received the money, she dint even have time to talk. never told us what was happening. or how things are going to work out. the only thing she would say is "you will be fine" "you need to retain us" dint really know the law when asked her a legal question. All what she was interested ...in is making us pay more & more. she's got ego issues (is a fact) she will make you feel like you are not worth anything to her & that you are wasting her time even though you have paid. she thinks she graduated from a prestigious school so she should not be working on simple cases. she should only be working on complicated cases & so she should not talk to you and your point of contact should only be with her secretary. (she brought this up several times on our appointment with her) I was at the office & some Law enforcement officer called to inquire about one of her clients. I assume this was a deportation officer. she said i dont know his current status or where he is working but let me ask him & call you back. then she calls the person (her client or use to be her client) & asks him about his status without informing him that there was an officer asking about his status. - common are you hired by the officer or the client? shouldn't you at least inform your client if there is an inquiry about him from some deportation officer? but the truth is that she does not care & wanted him to get into deportation so now she can charge the client more money to represent him. She outsources her work to paralegals. never gives you her cellphone number even in emergencies or even if you are her client (calls you from blocked caller ID) so if you have an appointment at 8:00AM and you don't know where to meet her or have a question on what to bring u cant reach her! period! her office opens at 9:30 and so you miss out on your appointment. she is very very very angry even with her clients. super nice until you pay, but then her true color comes out. I don't have anything against anybody but as a human being i advice you to stay away from this lawyer even though she seems nice on her radio talk shows. STAY AWAY! and help your self from some sleepless nights (I dint say money - cause i know money is replaceable but the tension you get after meeting this lawyer is a nightmare) I am from south India and i have the worst experience in my entire life with this lawyer. i just hope nobody else has to go through what i have been through with this lawyer. i recommend any other lawyer but this.

I had the worst experience with this attorney. She was polite till the time I handed my check to her after which suddenly her attitude towards me changed and she became rude and disrespectful towards me. She stopped answering my questions as well and asked me to leave. Her knowledge of immigration is... zero as she gave wrong advice to me which after checking with other attorney and online, I found completely incorrect. Her rates are the highest and knowledge is poorest.. wonder why would anyone go her.. maybe because she hosts these radio shows which makes people think that she has knowledge.. please do not consider this lawyer for any immigration issues.. you will repent

My friend had an immigration related question and he and my husband went to Ms. Thawer to get some information. Firstly, she was condescending, she kept taking calls throughout the paid half hour appointment time (which was $150) and the information she gave made no sense at all. My husband and I con...tacted some other immigration lawyers and they confirmed what she said was incorrect. The worst part was that she actually was really rude towards the end once she realized that the paid time was over. I met an established immigration lawyer at a business dinner last week and realized that even her peers didn't have a good opinion about her. I think she should stick to basic stuff like taxes etc. I would never recommend her not just because of the money, but because I will never trust her advise.

I assumed that a Yale trained lawyer would be a good person to have representing me, but all I found was a self absorbed counselor that was only good at billing hours. She is quick to accept a case, even if she has no real experience in the area you need representation. Her hourly rate should be less... than half of what she charges based upon how effective her work product is. I ultimately had to change attorneys to find one that could quickly resolve the matter at less than 1/3 of the cost I had incurred with Ms. Thawyer. She needs to stay with closing real estate transactions and leave the actual practice of law to those who know what they're doing.
