G. David Heiman

I've used David Heiman in two different situations. One was for custody/child support when my son's father just stopped showing up to pick up my son when we had joint custody. David got me full custody and a fair amount of child support in less than 5 months. He worked hard and was always available w...hen I needed anything. I used him again two years later when my husband's ex called CPS unwarranted on us when I was 8 months pregnant. CPS called my phone at 6:45am and then had the nerve to write in a report that I sounded like I was on drugs. I had just had a baby and was exhausted! Long story short David saved my family from the vicious claws of CPS and got them to drop their BS case and leave us alone! I am so incredibly thankful for his dedication to our case. He was a tad hard on me but I could tell he was just making sure we were being truthful. Once he believed me he really pushed and fought hard for me. I would definitely recommend him!

I never like to not recommend someone but I do hope he becomes more empathetic toward his clients. He lacked focus and transparency and spent the majority of his time talking about the opposing client with little regard for my welfare. I am still suffering from the outcome. I would like to have fa...ith that he will use this as a learning experience and be more empathetic toward future clients

Here is some advice from a former client--if you are thinking of retaining David Heiman, DON'T! Months have gone by without as much as a phone call from him, he leaves it to his paralegal to do, literally, all of his work. When I finally showed up at his office and confronted him, he didn't even know... who I was! The previous reviews of his arrogance are dead on, and he does become hostile when asked questions. He also still owes me money and will not return calls or emails about this.

I had very little interaction with him. His paralegals do everything when they have time. He is frequently not prepared for hearings and just wings it.Don't think the people in the Courts like him very much including the Judges and this worked against me as a client. He seemed to care more about his ...little red Mercedes coupe than he did about me. It seems like he would be inexpensive but I think with his approach it cost me more in the long run in fees, frustration and poor results.
