Robert A. Stewart

We went to Robert Stewart in April 2011 to file bankruptcy. We paid him his fee upfront (bad decision). We have sent him several emails and occasionally received an answer, usually after several days. Last week (over 1 year after we went to him) he stated he was ready to file our bankruptcy, howeve...r, we needed to obtain new certificates (an additional $59). We sent these to him, then didn't hear from him for over a week. I emailed him daily at both his office and personal email. No response. He finally responded saying he had been on vacation. He did not tell us he was going on vacation. We still don't know if our bankruptcy has been filed or not. We are getting calls and letters from our creditors. This should have been handled last year. At this time, we still don't know if he filed or what chapter was filed.
