Let me first start off with I hate divorce, but the unexpected happened in my marriage and took me completely off guard. I love marriage and wanted mine to work. However, due to a number of things that were occurring, I needed to seek guidance from a divorce attorney. I first tried to seek assistance... through my employer, but was not keen on the choices. Next, I did some online research and after a few failed attempts, I came across Taylor Mohr. After our first consultation, I knew she was the one and here's why. Taylor is not a some pushy attorney looking to take your case and money. She listened to what I had to say, provided me advice on what she could do based on the law, but also shared with me how she loved marriage as well and was sorry to see me wanting to end mine. From there, Taylor told me to go home and truly think about my decision - and that was it, no pressure. When I left her office I knew she was the attorney for me. When someone is in it to just take a case and your money, they just show up. When someone is in it with their heart and they are passionate about it, they don't just show up, they are involved. I want someone like that representing and advocating on my behalf because I have to much at stake - not things to be gained, but getting another chance to start over in life. Taylor is very detailed, organized, reliable and knows her stuff. I did not have to worry one step of the way regarding my case. She made an already difficult process much easier to deal with and for that I am forever grateful. Trust me if you have to go through an ordeal like this, you want to have the right person fighting for you. I hope this review helps.

I had contacted Attorney Mohr's firm along with a dozen other law firms I found on a lawyers.com website over a child support case. Out of let's say 15 law firms I sent an identical inquiry to, seven of them wanted me to contact them immediately because they felt that they could do something for me, ...and I needed to discuss payment arrangements to get the case opened; three of them offered me a free consultation for the first 30 minutes, and then the same deal, if I decided to hire their service, they would discuss the retainer; three of them never responded, and one of them kept on calling me - rather than responding to my email, leaving me a voice message, telling me to return the call. Then Attorney Mohr. First of all, she responded to my email thoroughly, answering all my questions (about 5 of them), explaining pros and cons and what the legal proceedings were going to be.Then she gave me detailed instructions on what I could do without having to hire an attorney. Basically, she was the only one who told me that I didn't need to spend money on lawyers. She was very understanding and sympathetic towards my needs of a lawyer, but what a simple case was mine to just file a form with the AG's office. Worried, as any other parent fighting over a child support case, I insisted that I would hire her service, being afraid that something could go wrong. But then she again assured me and advised that even if I paid her she would exactly that the first. She said I could always come back to her when the AG's office doesn't process my application as the way I expected or hoped for. While all the other law firms were excited to find this 'potential client inquiry' I submitted, and tried their best to turn into an account into their billing system, Attorney Mohr gave me professional legal advice I was seeking as a guidance. If I need a lawyer, I will hire one; that's why we have lawyers. To my out of the blue email inquiry, she responded sincerely, and when I emailed her back, her office called me to set up a conference call with her. Talking to her legal aide, I was asking for a payment information, thinking that she gave me sufficient free consultation, and now it was time for me to pay her some. Her legal aid advised me that talking to her wouldn't cost me anything. Attorney Mohr called me back on time from TX to CA at her cost; she talked to me for 15 minutes and talk to my husband for 20 minutes, and again with me for 10 minutes. AND ll of that for free of charge. I wanted to retain her, but she wanted me to wait till I had a real reason to retain her for a real legal work. I am still waiting to hear from the AG's office on the decision. If anything at all, definitely Attorney Mohr is whom I will be retaining to represent my case.
