Nightmare!

Where do I begin? Elizabeth Nielsen started off appearing to be a competent attorney. In the time that she was my attorney, she had three different paralegals and moved her office to three different locations. She was all I could afford at the time. Do not waste your money or your time! She is unorg...anized and unprofessional. She was late to almost every court date and one time the entire court including myself, waited 15 minutes for her to arrive. I ended up getting totally screwed by my ex-husband and his pitbull attorney and Elizabeth. Worst life experience ever! Run away from this attorney!

Don't waste your money!

She is very unprofessional. She was not prepared and unorganized. She did not present any of the information that we provided her. Before court, she built our confidence, but did not perform in court. I'm not sure if she was scared of the OAG or just lazy. At least we would have been heard if we woul...d have represented ourselves. Please don't trust her with your money or your family.

Worked hard in our budget

Elizabeth was so good to us. She helped us stay in our budget and was our attorney for what was a three year long case for our grandson. We did not want the result we got, but we were so happy with Elizabeth and what she did for us. She is a great lawyer.

TERRIBLE LAWYER!!!

If you are looking to WASTE your money and NEVER EVEN GET INTO COURT, THIS IS THE LAWYER FOR YOU! She is very unorganized, unprofessional, meaning she will yell things out from her tiny office to her inexperienced paralegal while you are sitting in her lobby area with other clients. She does not res...pond to phone or e-mail messages, unless you just keep calling or e-mailing repeatedly then you might get some sort of excuse from her or the paralegal. I paid this so called "attorney" a retainer fee and got nothing in return. I contacted her over a year ago to aid me in a family law matter and then decided to take a "holding pattern" for a bit. I then again contacted her in April 2015 for her to please go ahead and file a petition with the court. She agreed to move forward, I asked how long will this take for you to get it prepared? She stated two weeks, I did not hear from her until I had to call her office again in June. I told her that the situation was URGENT, and I felt as though that someone else was going to file for custody of my granddaughter and that is exactly what happened within one week another attorney filed a petition in the court. Ms. Neilsen had me come to her office to sign an affidavit, I arrived at the office and she was not there and she had her paralegal working on it. I waited for one hour along with another client sitting in the office listening to my affidavit, no privacy at all! The affidavit was signed by me and notarized on 6/26/15 and still to this day was never even filed with the court. The other parties attorney filed within one week and had the case closed within a two week time frame. Ms. Neilsen cost me my opportunity to petition the court for joint custody of my granddaughter. The Judge signed an order giving joint custody to a non-parent and non-relative of the family.

Amazing!

She has done everything she can to help me an my kids. She really knows the law! She will sit and talk to you for hours about your case and really make you feel at ease about your case and that everything is going to be ok. She will do what ever it takes and even appeal your case if she has to. She g...oes the extra mile.
