Knowledgeable, Skilled, Compassionate.
My niece was facing a very difficult and complicated custody battle for her little girl; so, my wife and I stepped in to help. We located Dana and could not be more pleased with the choice. He proved to have a depth of knowledge with respect to family law that is equal or greater than the best family attorneys in the area. Our basis for this statement includes both attorneys we have engaged in the past as well as those we encountered from the opposing side. Dana coupled this with exceptional strategy as he applied the law in a manner that stayed one step ahead of opposing counsel. His knowledge and skill, however, are equally matched with compassion and true concern for not only our niece as his client but for her daughter, which was very clear with his exceptional communication skills. My wife and I highly recommend Dana and his firm to anyone facing any family law situation, including and especially those that are the most difficult and that have the most at stake.

Strong Advocate
I chose Dana to represent me after several friends and colleagues recommended him. Dana is a competent attorney with proven litigation skills in and out of the courtroom. He can be an aggressive litigator when it is appropriate to do so but will also advise you when he believes it is best to compromise on certain issues. He is mindful of your intentions and how you wish to settle your legal matter. He is honest and upfront and truly cares about his clients. If you are seeking a strong advocate to represent you in your family law matter, I would highly recommend Mr. Dana Stewart.

Highly Recommend-Excellent
Dana is extremely professional, yet compassionate about his client’s sensitive issues. I hired Dana after finding myself facing divorce after almost 20 years. He listens and executes flawlessly. He was always prompt in returning calls and through in his responses. His guidance was invaluable. I hands down made the best choice in hiring Dana over the others I had interviewed. I would highly recommend him for your legal needs! Thank You Dana for making an extremely difficult situation a bit easier.

Extremely Knowledgeable, Professional & Available
Dana made a very tough process as easy as it could be. He was there every time I had questions (and I had a lot) and offered great, sound, advice. I would recommend him to anyone who wants a lawyer who will explain all your options and work with you to find the best option that works specifically for you. Dana prepared me for every step of the way and we ran through many scenarios that made me feel ready for whatever was coming next. His profession can be extremely tough and he handled every step with class and professionalism.

Highly recommend Dana Stewart for family law counsel
Dana Stewart was my attorney for my divorce after 16 years of marriage, two children, and accumulated assets. Dana provided excellent professional legal guidance during the emotional roller coaster experienced with a divorce. He was prompt and efficient with his response to any questions I had. During the initial meeting with Dana, I made clear my motive was not to drag the divorce out or make emotional decisions. I hired him to guide me in making the best legal option for the circumstance. Dana is professional and patient. With his excellent family law experience, I proceeded with getting divorced in a timely manner. I was well informed of the pros and cons of the choices, I had to make. Dana presented information for my benefit of understanding. His excellent experience in family law served my family's needs in an uncertain time. I am confident I made wise legal decisions in the best interest for my future self, as well as for my sons with Dana's help. Thank you, Dana. I would recommend, Dana Stewart, to any individual who may be considering or is being challenged by the life event of a divorce. Sincerely, Sarah

Miracle Worker!
Dana is amazing! He is honest, realistic, down to earth, approachable, knowledgeable, responsive, and truly has his clients best interest at heart. After a tough divorce, and constant issues with my ex, I was desperate to find a lawyer that could help (3rd one was definitely the charm). Dana came highly recommended by a friend. It is thanks to Dana that my voice was finally heard, and as a father was able to get my kids out of a difficult situation with their mom, and was granted primary custody of my children. Dana was supportive, but set expectations based on his wealth of knowledge and experience. My family and I will forever be grateful for Dana’s guidance and hard work on our case.

My experience with Dana Stewart
I hired Dana to handle my divorce. It was a fairly straight forward divorce, with no minor children involved. I was comfortable with Dana as soon as we spoke, and continued to grow in confidence as we moved forward. My former wife's attorney was a train wreck, and by contrast, I had made a great choice. Dana was able to offer the resources of other outstanding professionals, including his paralegal, a pension expert, and a very good accountant referral. I would strongly recommend that you speak with Dana if you need legal help.

Dana and his team are awesome!!!
I hired Dana to help me with my divorce. They were so helpful and caring...making sure that every last detail was taken care of. In my opinion they went above and beyond and did it all at a very fair price. The integrity they displayed thru out the process was top notch...I would definitely refer them to any of my friends and family!

Dana Stewart is the most incredible attorney!
Dana helped me with a long overdue parent-child custody modification and child support. He is intelligent, patient and communicates clearly. I was never left in doubt as to what were the next steps, it was clearly defined and communicated by Dana. He handled my somewhat complicated case by providing the truth, potential outcomes and options for me to review and decide upon. I would recommend Dana to anyone seeking a strong, ethical, intelligent attorney. He exceeded all of my expectations.

Amazing attorney!
My husband and I hired Dana for a family law case. From the moment we first spoke with him, we knew he was the perfect fit for our case. He always stayed in contact and did a fantastic job. I know I was emotional and probably difficult to deal with at times. I know there were frustrating times for all of us. Dana always kept his composure and reassured me that everything would be okay, even if it didn’t feel like it would be at the time. The judge signed our orders yesterday, and although it was a huge sigh of relief, I will miss Dana. I don’t think most people say they would miss their attorney. Haha But, in our case...he wasn’t “just our attorney”. He became my confidant, the person who kept me sane through a very trying process, and someone we will never forget. Denise, his paralegal, is also amazing! Thank you for everything you guys have done for us, we know it wasn’t easy.

I truly appreciate his expertise in not only resolving our situation quickly but guiding us to create a resolution that will avoid future issues should they arise. Thank you Dana!

Outstanding Attorney for High-Conflict, Non-Compliant, Parental Alienation Cases
I found Dana Stewart through my Family Mediation Instructor whom I much admired. Dana is very passionate about helping people who are going through on of the worst times in their life. My daughter was taken from me under false accusations and I had not seen her for years. I needed someone who could help me paint a clear picture of what was truly going on from a very non-compliant alienating co-parent who was abusing the judicial system while the courts were figuring out what was going on. I have worked with Dana and his diligent paralegal Denise since 2015. To boil down years of great advisement, support, and many complex orders; these characteristics are what shine about this exceptional attorney and his paralegal: • His personal experience shines through his compassion and tenacity for working hard by keeping you in the loop as much as humanly possible. And if he’s tied up, his paralegal Denise will fill you in. • He explains things well and adjusts to ensure your significant other understands too. He is excellent at redirecting or offer reasoning so both of you feel confident moving forward or are able to get on the same page. • He is forthright and respects that the process is costly for you. He will tell you the options and how effective they might be comparative to the cost and time required. He will even tell you to not use him and go another route if it might settle the case or be resolved outside litigation. • He is very professional amongst difficult opposing counsel but will be tirelessly firm and assertive when it’s clear his client is getting pushed around. His quick reaction time in court for unexpected maneuvers helped us to keep the most leverage to turn things around. • His paralegal, Denise Alberino, was always informed and quick to relay his status. She was instrumental in keeping us calm and reassured in between waiting for court to reconvene or assisting him with his notes during court proceedings. I am certain she was a big part of why many procedures or paper work was turned around quickly and efficiently. In the past, I have had a very good attorney with very poor staff which definitely impacted my level of stress while handling such a high-conflict case. • Dana’s excellent rapport with professionals in the Collin County and Dallas sphere ensured we connected with excellent counselors and professionals to facilitate needs for our case. Accomplishments: • Attained a Reunification Counselor for mother and daughter to be reunited and remove alienated behavior. Eventually, all fees were to be paid by co-parent. • Created several agreements to ensure compliance of previous agreements where non-compliance resulted in the repayment of legal fees, financial responsibility of all Parent Facilitation Fees, and non-compliance fees. • Implemented a requested designated third counselor for non-compliant co-parent to see to help resolve high conflict behavior. • Won motions of enforcement of severe non-compliance resulting in jail time. • Fulfilled client’s wishes to create a detailed step-down program limiting time with alienated child to ensure compliance and healthy behavior before more litigation would occur. • Created several large detailed orders per client’s wish to create enforceable consequences for non-compliant behavior. • Assisted client in creating a final order that helps avoid being constantly in and out of court. So much of your life, money, time, and stress goes into this process. I wanted to give another person going through such a difficult time the chance to have a thorough review to make such an important decision. To this day, we keep aside money so we can retain Dana if we are ever in need of him. He is one of the best choices we ever made in this process and is a true credit to his firm and the standard of excellence they uphold.

Professional, Responsive, Ethical Attorney
I cannot say enough good things about Dana and his firm. I was fortunate enough that my EAP legal benefit referred me to Dana for which I received a free initial consultation and discounted rate for the fees through out my case. Dana was always professional and responded quickly, which I have learned is not always the case with other lawyers. He would talk me through processes and weigh the options, allowing me time to decide how I wanted to proceed. He was very mindful of ways to try and keep expenses down, which I greatly appreciate. When things were not going smoothly Dana offered some great suggestions for moving the case along. I really appreciate his style in working well with the other side and his ability to navigate difficulties and take a firm stand when collaboration with the other side proved ineffective. He was very good at explaining various settlement options at different stages in the process as well as understanding the stress involved with prolonging reaching a final agreement. It was very important to me to not settle for less than what I was entitled to and I feel strongly that Dana was my biggest asset in reaching a fair final agreement. If I have any family law needs in the future or anyone I know needs a referral, Dana will be the first person to call or recommend. I cannot say enough good things about him.

"I have known Dana for over 10 years, and we worked at the same family law firm for about five years before I went to law school. During that time, I learned so much from him, not just about family law, but also about handling cases with integrity and thoughtfulness. Dana holds himself to the highest ethical standards. I have referred opposing parties to him because I know that he will be fair and reasonable, and I respect his legal positions. I had the opportunity to attend a 3-day trial with Dana when we worked together. He took a case that seemed absolutely hopeless and won on every issue. Legal professionals refer their family, friends, and clients to him. If I needed to hire a family law attorney for myself, he would be my first call. I endorse Dana without reservation."

"Dana and I have known each other for a decade now. We worked closely together early in our careers and have stayed in touch since.
