Stephen D. Colbert

Mr. Colbert is qualified to take on any business or commercial litigation you may have, from anti-trust cases to loan, real estate, construction, manufacturing, employment disputes and more. He also has experience serving as an administrative law judge and a tribal judge for the Chickasaw Indian Nation.

Mr. Colbert's practice focuses on advising clients on elder law, estate planning, business succession, and probate matters. He also selectively advises and represents clients on family related matters, including divorce, child custody, and child support matters.

Mr. Colbert is a practicing lawyer in Texas and Oklahoma. He graduated with his B.S. from the University of Oklahoma in 1971 and J.D. in 1974, after which he became licensed to practice law in Oklahoma that same year, then eventually gaining licensure to practice law 1992 within Texas as well. Mr. Colbert continues his membership with both the State Bar of Texas and American Bar Association.
