I recently required the assistance of a patent attorney. After a thorough research I contacted "The Law Office of Daniel Swayze, Jr.” to help me file for patent on a highly complicated scientific system. While I expected some assistance and guidance towards proper patent filing procedures, his tota...l involvement and dedication to this technically complex project totally surprised me. As I wrote in an email to him after the filing, I thought that somehow “thank you” didn’t seem to be enough for conveying my gratitude to him for the incredible and amazing work he did on my behalf. Understanding all the scientific processes and formulas relating different aspects of this system together was a very difficult task. This was our first go at getting an electronic device patented. Dan sat down with me at first to see what exactly we had, and what was going to be needed to move forward with our Utility Patent. He worked very diligently to make sure that we had covered all aspects before submitting our Provisional... patent. Once we had the provisional filed, Dan worked with us to ensure that we understood the time limit that would now be in effect to file our non-provisional. Over the course of the next year Dan worked with us to write our non-provisional patent application. We currently are in patent pending.
