Amazing Medicaid Attorney

Ken Nohavicka did the Medicaid planning for my uncle. It took time as the process was complex. In the end, he was awarded 24/7 home care paid for by the state. We were able to preserve much of his assets which proved helpful to supplement his needs, pay his other bills and afford him a dignified end ...of life. I highly recommend Ken Nohavika if you have a complex case and want to be assured that he will fight as long as it takes to have benefits awarded. By the way, as an add on to my uncles case, Ken told us about Veterans Aid and Attendance benefits. He helped us with that program as well which pays around $1800 per month towards care.

Dissatisfied

We had a very poor experience with this lawyer - we could not get in touch with him, he did not return phone calls and did not show up to meetings and when he did he was never on time. He did not follow through on setting up a trust which cost us money instead of saving and protecting it like he sai...d he would do. The Medicaid application process was delayed for months based on his neglectful and unresponsive behavior, again costing a lot of money. The experience was a waste of time and money.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
