Myriah S. Downs

Myriah S. Downs is a civil litigation attorney in Oklahoma. Her practice focuses on the areas of insurance, personal injury, civil rights, commercial/business litigation, environmental law, workers compensation, federal vaccine claims, auto accidents/car wrecks, and class actions. Myriah is licensed to practice law in the State of Oklahoma, the Northern District of Oklahoma, and the United States Court of Federal Claims.

In additional to representing clients at all phases of litigation, Myriah has presented oral arguments before state and federal trial courts, drafted pleadings and motions, conducted all levels of discovery including interrogatories, requests for production, requests for admission, witness depositions, and expert witness selection. Myriah has drafted appeals to the Oklahoma Supreme Court and represented clients in the United States Court of Federal Claims Vaccine Court.

Myriah is an active member of the National Bar Association, the Northeastern Oklahoma Black Lawyers Association, Tulsa Bar Association Diversity Committee and Black Professionals of Tulsa. Myriah was named to the inaugural Lawyers of Color, Inc. Hot List honoring 100 legal professionals around the southwestern United States.
