Ryan Fulda

Ryan Fulda focuses his practice on representing claimants in complex insurance disputes and tort claims (claims for personal injury and property damage). Ryan has handled matters involving insurance law and torts since he began his practice over ten years ago.  He has represented clients in jury trials in state and federal courts in Oklahoma involving claims in excess of $1 million.  Ryan is AV-rated by Martindale Hubbell.   

In representing clients involved in disputes with insurance companies, Ryan frequently handles claims arising out of injuries or damages caused by auto accidents, fires, floods, storms, and catastrophic events.  These disputes commonly center around issues regarding whether a claim was caused by a covered cause of loss under an insurance policy, the applicability of potential exclusions under an insurance policy, and determination of the amount of payment for a loss.  In the course of representing clients in such disputes, Ryan has litigated claims for declaratory judgment, breach of contract for insurance coverage, and bad faith handling of insurance claims.

Ryan also represents businesses in disputes involving claims for commercial property insurance coverage for damage to valuable equipment (such as unique manufacturing machinery and expensive oil and gas drilling implements), and claims for loss of income related to covered losses.

Ryan regularly represents clients in claims for recovery of insurance benefits for uninsured or underinsured motorist coverage (“UM Coverage”).  Ryan regularly authors educational materials and presents at seminars on UM Coverage in Oklahoma. 

He also regularly represents clients in tort claims for personal injury and property damage, including claims for motor vehicle negligence, trucking negligence, premises liability, products liability, and professional liability. 

Ryan has been named a “Super Lawyer Rising Star” every year since 2013.  He has presented at seminars on issues regarding insurance coverage and jury trials.

Ryan grew up in Tulsa and attended the University of Oklahoma for his undergraduate degree and law degree.  After law school he returned to Tulsa to practice law.
