Matthew Bryant Wade

Managing Attorney Matthew Wade has been an invaluable member of Abel Law Firm since 2014. Before joining our team, Matthew earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Law in 2005, laying a solid foundation for his remarkable legal career. He then spent 7 years as in-house counsel at State Farm Insurance gaining deep insight into how insurance companies think and wanted to use this knowledge to benefit individuals who suffered due to no fault of their own. Matthew has been honored as a “Super Lawyer” for 2021 – Present. Moreover, his achievements extend beyond this recognition, as he was handpicked for the National Trial Lawyers Top 100 and appointed to the role of managing attorney at Abel Law Firm in 2022.

Matthew revels in taking on the challenge of facing large companies and corporations, fearlessly advocating for his clients’ rights. He is passionate about protecting the 7th Amendment and derives immense satisfaction from fighting for the underdog. Matthew remains empathetic to the hardships his clients endure and ensures that compassion guides his practice every step of the way. He continues his contribution to the community at large by serving as a professor in the University of Oklahoma College of Law’s esteemed Legal Assistants Program. He is also a dedicated board member of the Oklahoma Association for Justice and President of the Board of Directors for CASA of Oklahoma.

Beyond his legal pursuits, Matthew embraces a diverse range of interests, such as attending concerts, fly fishing, snow skiing, and baseball. He is a devoted family man, cherishing the time spent with his wife and three children.
