Let me state this up front. As a rule I DON'T LIKE ATTORNEYS. However..... Matt is an exception. He is a man of strong character, integrity and compassion. These are traits that I generally do not attribute to lawyers. He has a servant heart and will give his best effort to successfully l...itigate a case. He is knowledgeable, strategic and tactical. We have had a professional relationship since 2007. I have sought, and heeded, his counsel on numerous occasions on matters within his area of practice as well as matters outside of his area. .... It is true that Matt went through a difficult period in his personal life that adversely effected his professional life, as have most of us at one time or another. But that was 10 years ago. I know this first hand because I first retained him in 2007 while he was in the midst of his tribulation. I have maintained a working relationship with him because of how he responded to the adversity. Matt took ownership of his situation and rebounded admirably from it. He has worked relentlessly to reestablish himself in the field. In my opinion, Matt is a far better attorney because of his tribulation. As is said, "That which does not kill us makes us stronger." When going to battle, I want a warrior whose mettle is tested. Matt is such a warrior.

We hired Matt in 2005 he was absolutely amazing. He helped us to achieve everything we had set out to from the start. He was very informative and very knowledgeable through our entire experience. He listened to all of our wishes and helped us implement A child custody plan that was perfect for all. T...hrough the years I have always turned to Matt as I will continue not only did he do his job wonderfully the entire time he fought for what he knew was best for the child at hand. Any of our friends and family who have asked we have always referred them to Matt.

I have hired Matt on a couple diferrent occasions. The first time was when I went through a divorce and was fighting for parenting time with my child. Matt was extremely knowledgable on the laws and how to apply them. I believe he got me the most time possible with my son. Because of Matt's work, fig...hting for my rights as a parent, I have a wonderful relationship with my son. Matt fought hard for a fair parenting schedule that we still have to this day. Another time Matt came through for me, was when a friend of mine hired him for a dui offense. This was not Matts field of expertise, but he took on the case. Matt studied and when it was time to go to court Matt had the D.A. asking for mercy. My friend ended up with a very fair resolution, Thanks to Matt. I know ther are some negitive reviews on Matt. I can not speak to them, I can only speak to the experience I have had with Matt Lyons. He is a very nice guy and great to work with and to this day he is my go to guy for legal advice. I highly recommend Matt Lyons.
