I adopted a Choctaw child in leflore county. I’m not sure if Lisa has worked with the tribe previously but she was very knowledgeable regarding the process. I will recommend her to other tribal families or any foster family. This is the third child I have adopted but my first time using this lawyer. ...I was under a time constraint and it was important that his adoption become final within 30 days. Lisa made that happen. Lisa was amazing from the start. She took the time with our initial phone call to get all of our information and listen to my fears, and by the end of the call I knew that we were in the best hands. This was our first adoption and I did not know what to expect at all. Lisa was beyond prompt when r...eplying to my messages, and never once did I feel that I was bothering her or that she didn't have time for me. I'm fairly certain she works around the clock, and I secretly think she's Wonder Woman... admit it, you've never seen them in the same room together right? In fact, Lisa was out of town when she typed up our paperwork and sent it to me the night before my birthday as an early gift. The hubbs will never be able to top that gift, probably his only complaint about the process haha! Lisa made sure to include our other kiddos in the adoption, and gave all of them super hero capes as well. If we're ever blessed with the opportunity to adopt again, Lisa will be my first call. I literally cannot thank her enough for all that she did for our family.

Ms. Howard was very helpful and easy to work with. She walked us through the whole process, answered all of our questions, even gave us her personal cell phone number to call her directly. We had a very difficult adoption case that got very ugly, and she was extremely well prepared and did an EXCELLE...NT job. She got all of our paperwork to us very quickly. I cannot say enough great things about Attorney Lisa Howard. She is very experienced in adoption and knows all of the judges in all the counties. She is, by far, the best adoption attorney in Oklahoma.
