The worst legal representation and worst business service I have ever received

I deeply regret hiring Cannon & Associates, specifically Hannah Bullock, to represent me in my divorce. In my experience, I was under-informed, under-prepared, and poorly advised at the most important moments of my case. I lived in Utah while my case was in Oklahoma, yet I was given approximately ...48 hours’ notice that I needed to appear in court in Oklahoma. I rearranged my life, traveled there at great expense, and arrived being led to believe I would be going before a judge. Instead, I was placed in a negotiation room with opposing counsel. I was not properly prepared for that process. I was not given a clear explanation of what would happen, what my options were, what I should push back on, or what the consequences could be. In my opinion, I felt that Hannah did not adequately guide or protect me in that room. As a result, I agreed to a temporary order that surrendered more than half of my income in exchange for custody of my son. I later came to believe, through my own research, that because my son was 16 and wanted to live with me, I may have had a strong chance of receiving custody anyway without agreeing to such a financially devastating arrangement. The temporary order also failed to include meaningful protection if I lost my job. I later was laid off, and I was advised that there was nothing I could do and that I still owed the money. Opposing counsel later tried to hold me in contempt, and I had to scrape and save for months to avoid further legal consequences. Meanwhile, Cannon & Associates continued billing me, and the charges kept climbing. I ultimately paid more than $11,000 for representation that I believe left me financially exposed, poorly informed, and inadequately protected. Family law clients need an attorney who listens, explains the process, prepares them for hearings, protects their interests in negotiations, and makes sure they understand the consequences before signing anything. In my experience, that is not what I received from Hannah Bullock or Cannon & Associates. To be clear, I was a client of this firm, I paid this firm, and this review is based on my own direct experience with their representation. I am not posting this because of a misunderstanding, a court delay, or because my “expectations weren’t met.” I am posting it because I believe the representation I received was deeply inadequate, financially damaging, and nowhere near the level of guidance a family law client should expect when making life-altering decisions. This was the worst service I have ever received from any business in any capacity. I absolutely would not recommend Cannon & Associates based on my experience.

Don't waste your money

Hannah Bullock does not care about you or your case. Charging on statements is inconsistent. In 6 months, I had 2 phone calls, totaling just 15 minutes. In court, she seemed to believe my ex and the opposing counsel; she did not advocate for me or my rights as a father, and prolonged the process. She... never once asked my side of the things they were alleging, I might as well drive down the interstate and throw 5,000 dollars out my window. Don't waste your money hiring her, especially if you are a father. Oh and it cost over 800 dollars to fire her.

Worst lawyer ever

Absolutely worst experience ever!!! Hanah bullock was our lawyer and she drained our account and didn't do anything for us and when questioned about double billing, overcharges and exaggerated times talking texting and emailing she RECUSED herself the day of court. Left us high and dry in whats alre...ady a sad time in our lives. When she recused herself they went back into our account 2 hours after and charged us another 300 dollars and some change. That charge was in order to bring our account to 1500 BUT SHE ALREADY QUIT, because that's what they require to be in your account at all times. They won't return our 1500 so I'm now going to have to make fraudulent claims with my bank and their legal team.I PROMISE IF YOU USE THIS COMPANY YOU WILL BE SORRY!!! Our lawyer HANNAH BULLOCK is inexperienced and the only thing she knew how to do was drain our account. John cannon said he'd address the matter and that's been almost a week. We've asked, begged and pleaded for this company to do the right thing and give us our 1500 dollars back. These people are crooks
