I never wandered if she was going to fight for me. She proved it over and over again. Anytime I had a concern she addressed it immediately with, not only myself, but my ex husband’s attorney. She is fearless and doesn’t back down! I was married for 20 years and had been teaching for 20 years. She was able to protect 100% of my retirement. A friend recommended me to Shannon after I gave up on getting a return call from my first attorney. After paying my first lawyer $1,500 for an uncontested divorce, he NEVER spoke to me again. I called numerous times just trying to get the status of my case. His staff would say "he was working on i...t" and that he would let me know when it was prepared. Five weeks after I paid him, my divorce still was not even filed! Frustrated, a friend and co-worker gave me Shannon's number. I was able to get an appointment that week for a free consultation. He had the nerve to tell me that his retainers are non-refundable and that I signed a contract agreeing to that when I filled out a client information sheet. He also said since I paid him $1,500 he would put that money toward any other legal matter that I may or may not have in the future. He is crazy if he thinks I would use him as a lawyer even if it was for free. This experience has left me knowing the difference between a horrible scum sucking lawyer and a first class, five-star attorney. I will never have to worry if I have a legal matter because I have Shannon on my side fighting for me.
