Conflicts Shinanigans

Rhonda had done work for me in other cases prior to the fall out I had with her. She seemed to care and do fine work helping resolve my issues. She really became a shyster and out right dishonest with how she would handle a case concerning an advocate role I was for immigrint who was tricked by Ms.... McCauley and worse lied to by Rhonda. She also wrote my client a nast letter and tried to destroy our relationship as partners in advocating her case. Very unprofessional excuses as to why she had not updated the client about her dates and case info. She was a horrible disgrace to the confidence I had placed in my relationship with her. I had promoted her to this individual, my friend, I secured a contract for her as a advocate, it was so upsetting, I involved her at all. So whatever it is that made her so out right negligent to our case is her personal conflicts. Another attorney had to take over the case. It was a mess. Also, it appear she didn't want our mutual client to be sucessful in her endeavor with a lawsuit, we asked her to file. She had huge conflicts but didn't mention anything and made her services a sham. I would not hire her for any legal woes, it will only get worse for you if she touches your case. She makes excuses and blames others for her negligents, and is likely all a game for her. I caught her time and time again using her cute little girl voice to tell me lies.

fast successful waiver

I was in a bad situation and had another lawyer that wasn't doing much for me and just taking my money. but everything with Rhonda made the process much faster, everything she recommended us to do worked out perfect and made the process better than I thought it would go. I went to my interview and it... was much faster than I thought I would last, It took me less than 2 weeks to be back with my family again. she kept me well informed with what was going on with my case and even after I got back she was still in touch with me congratulating me and can tell she cared about my case as much as I did she was also happy that I got the good news I got.

A answer to my prayers in keeping my American dreams alive

I hired Rhonda McCauley for the first time seven years ago to handle a very delicate situation involving many different agencies and many different problems. She visited with me immediately even traveling over four hours to visit me in a detention center. I was released that same day due to her effor...ts after spending several weeks away from my family. Since that time she has helped me and my extended family on every legal issue that has arisen without a single failure. She and her staff have made me feel as if I were their only client and that my problems were their top priority. She has also helped most of my fellow church members and seeks the Lord's guidance in her work. I highly recommend her to anyone who is needing help with immigration problems. She has always been prompt in returning my calls and answering my questions and her staff is very friendly and seem to be highly skilled.

Professional misconduct

This lawyer was disciplined by a state licensing authority in 2019.

Reprimand issued in AR, 2019

updated on 09/04/2020

This means the attorney did something wrong, but the Bar did not suspend the lawyer. Typically in this case the lawyer's poor behavior is exposed to the public in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior.

Caution issued in AR, 2012

updated on 08/07/2015

A caution means that an attorney did something wrong, but may still practice law. The attorney was cautioned in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior. Details of the infraction are made part of the public record.

Rhonda’s comment:

“The discipline carried a fine of $50 which indicates that this was not considered to be a terribly serious offense. I was unable to prove that I had provided a copy of the Board of Immigration Appeals decision to my client, though it was my contention that they were provided a copy in person. They were not eligible to remain in the U.S. at the time I was hired, but I was able to mitigate their situation over about five years of essentially pro bono representation.”
