Sue Ann V. Newman

We hired Ms. Newman to help with a disagreement with custody/visitation. She wanted to take a sit back and wait approach and we needed a go getter. We were not in agreement with her advice but tried to follow it anyway. It may have hurt us more than it helped us. At times I felt as if she was wor...king more for my ex than for me. She recommended things that we had already advised her we were not interested in and when communicating with me she would only address concerns she wanted and ignore other questions I had. The only good thing I have to say is she great about responding by phone and email in a timely manner. I would not recommend her at all. We hired a different attorney who was ready to take action immediately, gave us good advice that contradicted hers and was ready to help us with all of our legal needs.

I hired Ms. Newman to help me in a very contentious divorce case. Ms. Newman was very attentive to my questions and concerns and was prompt in returning my phone calls and e-mails. She was highly effective in court and extremely knowledgeable, yet compassionate to my situation. She made sure I ...understood my options and gave recommendations that were practical and on point. Hiring Ms. Newman was a great decision, I would highly recommend Ms. Newman for any family law issue.
