After being on the adoption journey for two years we matched with a birth family and met Vaughn. His wisdom and demeanor gave us a lot of comfort in this “confusing and overwhelming” process. Vaughn was extremely helpful during the birth and the days when we were waiting to be able to leave. He made ...it quick and seamless in our eyes even though there was a lot going on to make it happen. Vaughn truly cares about all parties involved and seeks the best for them. We are so thankful to Vaughn for playing such a huge role in bringing our family together.

Mr Cordes assisted us with adopting our son, which was very smooth. We contacted him a little over a year later and told him we were ready to adopt again and would like to work with him again. We waited about 5 months to be matched, and were matched with a single mother that was due the next month. T...he baby’s father ended up coming back into the picture and she ultimately decided to parent her child. They are still together, so We know that what was meant to be, happened. Due to this failed adoption, Mr Cordes did his very best for us to ultimately help match us with a couple that he believed would ultimately choose to place the child for adoption and were doing it for the right reasons. It took over a year after our failed placement, with some bumps along the way. There were potential situations that he guided us against, as he felt the adoption would not have been ethical or that the parents were not placing the child for the right reasons. We finally matched with a young couple that were expecting a baby due in November. Mr Cordes was a source of support for us, as he has adopted children himself, so along with legal guidance (like hiring the couple an attorney to represent them and not us), he also provided us with emotional support for the roller coaster ride of our second adoption. I believe he truly wants to do right by everyone he works with. We just had to give him the time and our patience for it to happen (as difficult as it was during that LONG wait) but it was ultimately worth it, as our family love has now expanded with our wonderful extended families in Arkansas.

We had a awesome experience with our adoption. We were matched in a very short time and had very good support throughout it. He has a very compassionate heart for his clients and the moms he works with and tries his best to make it successful. We were very blessed with his passion for the adoptions a...nd his willingness to help the birth moms, going out of his way countless times, even with a busy family himself. He can relate as he has adopted a number of those children. We found him to be a very honest and just attorney and would definitely choose him again with future adoptions. It was a true blessing working with a tenderhearted caring person.

My husband and myself contacted Mr. Cordes in January of 2016. It was a very difficult decision that we prayed on for months. We have been trying to adopt a baby from RMI for the last 3 and half years! We submitted our dossier last year after waiting on a list with our agency for almost 24 months! Du...e to the slow down in international adoptions on the islands we decided that we would pursue a Marshallese domestic adoption. (It wasn't an option for our family to switch countries..we desire an open adoption. We truly love the Marshallese culture) In January I started calling all attorney facilitating Marshallese domestic adoption in Arkansas. I asked many questions..the other attorneys just told me to submit there application and they would match us..they didn't have the time to speak to me so I felt... but Vaughn he was extremely patient, kind, and compassionate regarding our unique situation! He answered all questions and never once rushed the conversation. He did inform me that his firm is a small firm so communication is an issue for some so he did want me to no that just incase that would be an issue..We were recently matched with a very lovely family! Its been so fun and exciting bonding with them! Justin Vaughn's interpreter is great! He is super attentive to the Marshallese families! He truly loves each one of them and looks out for them! They look up to Justin. Ive contacted Justin many times to ask questions or just to visit about RMI and he is always happy to answer my calls.
