Jane Watson Sexton

We hired this attorney for child custody and set my fee as 1500 dollars.. I paid 900 hundred dollars down and would pay out the other 600 before court... I was told that we had our first court apperance months later in another county... After waiting till the end of all the people the judge called fo...r Trials, Mrs Watson and I was told by the courts that they had mailed a letter to her office prior to this court date that my custody trial had been moved back to a later date!! Ugh so this was a waisted trip that I wish my attorney would of checked before this date!! I'm not sure if it was not opening the letter at her office, but anyhow the courts said they sent her office a letter. Fortunately for me and my boys; i talked with my boys mother and she agreed that the boys were better off in my custody and I had her sign over full custody of my boys! No trial or custody battle needed!! Praise Jesus!! However, Mrs Watson had her office type up the custody papers and I picked them up a couple days later at her office! I had the boys mother sign the papers and I had them notorized. My attorney told me that she was satisfied with payment and I owed nothing more!! Fair enough! This is where it gets interesting. After a couple months , we were contacted by her office that I owed $2000.00. Dollars and they wanted payment!! What??? How??? With the 900 I paid down and was told by attorney herself - payment satisfied? My wife contacted her and her office told her that they were my Facebook friends, and since we recently bought a pricey new home and showing it off on facebook that I could pay!!! What? My wife paid 2 thousand to her office at that time to end this circus! Basically, we paid three thousand dollars for paper work to be written and filed for custody that I had settled without need for a trial!!! Wow! I do want to conclude that post were made to my social site (I have copies of) and I had to block certain individules because of the harrassment.. Very unproffesional.

NEVER USE JANE SEXTON... Miss Jane Sexton was very happy to take my money. Jane Sexton told me that my case was very simple (prepare and file uncontested adoption papers) and could be handled without any problems. Thanked my veteran husband for his service and even offered a discounted price. After t...wo months of waiting to hear how my case was progressing I heard nothing from her office so I called to check. Jane Sexton secretary told me she would talk to Jane and send me an email on the status of my case. After waiting an additional two months I called her office and spoke to her secretary again asking why I had not received an email with an update to the status of my case. Her secretary was extremely rude and informed me that Jane had done nothing with my case and if I wanted to speak to Jane I would have to make another appointment with her(also pay consultation fee again). My husband then got on the phone and informed her that we would like the retainer fee back b/c she hadn't done anything on our case in the past four months. Miss Jane Sexton call my husband back and told him "I don't care that you are a vet who served our country I have bills to pay" I STRONGLY Advise you to seek another attorney. Jane Sexton is only interested in your consultation fee. Thank you. Emily and Randy

Jane has represented me in a child custody case.. Being a father, it has been my experience, that the court system, is not set up equally for men. I will say, I believe and hope, it is getting better. Jane Sexton fought hard for my rights as a father. Because of Jane, I have my rights with my daug...hter. I get to have a relationship with my little girl. Memories, experiences, and time that nobody can take away from me again. That is priceless! My custody battle was ugly. My daughter's mother made it as difficult as possible. Jane stood by me and up for me and my daughter. Jane fought hard and never gave up. Jane encouraged me during the really stressful times to not become discouraged. Jane Sexton kept me well informed, was always available for phone calls and e-mails, often long after, her office hours had ended. Jane Sexton did all of this for me, during a time in her life, when husband was battling cancer. A battle, he sadly lost. I went to court shortly after the death of Jane's husband. Jane was remarkable. Jane never missed a beat. Jane was professional, tough, and new my case inside and out. Jane Sexton believes in what she does. Jane fights for her clients and their children. Jane fights so hard because she believes in right and wrong. Jane Sexton is the only attorney, you should even think about hiring in NWA. Because I can tell you, from what I have witnessed, you don't want her to be the attorney for the other side, especially when you enter the court room. I can never repay Jane Sexton, for the service, she provided me. Because as I said before, what she fought so hard for, is priceless. I will always be thankful to Jane, for her unwavering support and determination, especially while she was going through an unimaginable difficult time in her life. Jane Sexton is the best.
