Kent McLemore graduated from the University of Arkansas School of Law in 1989. He practiced criminal defense in the San Francisco Bay Area for several years before returning to Fayetteville. In 1997, McLemore co-founded Buckley, McLemore & Hudson, P.A., which for 20 years provided quality representation to residents of Northwest Arkansas. In 2017, McLemore established McLemore-Law, P.A., a private, solo practice focussed on criminal defense and related legal issues.
McLemore is a former adjunct professor at the University of Arkansas School of Law where he taught Trial Advocacy and supervised law students at the U of A Legal Clinic. He has presented to colleagues on a variety of topics, including trial preparation, jury selection and cross-examination.
A trial lawyer since 1990, McLemore has handled some of Northwest Arkansas' most serious, high-profile cases. His extensive experience with murder trials has led him to become one of the few attorneys certified by the State to defend those facing the death penalty. Over the years McLemore has mentored many young attorneys and continues to provide leadership in his field.

"I have known Kent for more than 20 years. His solid track record and his excellent reputation in our community is why I refer my own clients to him when they need help navigating our criminal justice system."
"I worked with Kent on a complex criminal case. He proved to be beyond competent. Kent is an attorney I look up to and try to emulate in my own practice. He is a zealous advocate for his clients and I would recommend him to anyone for criminal defense matters."
