Landon was born and raised in Batesville, Arkansas and is proud to call Batesville his hometown. Before opening Reeves Law Firm in 2018, Landon practiced in Little Rock with one of the largest national law firms in Arkansas with over 500 attorneys and 25 offices nationwide where he regularly worked with some of the largest corporations in Arkansas and the nation, as well as small and medium-sized companies. His experience in working on large scale transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic transactions, as well as all matters related to corporate governance and business development is what sets him apart in Batesville. When asked what excites him most about coming back home to Batesville he said “I am just so thrilled and blessed to be able to get back to my hometown where I will be able to use my skills and expertise in business and transactional law, as well as other areas of the law affecting individuals and businesses, in order to help facilitate the economic growth and development of our wonderful community.”
Landon’s practice includes the representation and advisement of various areas of the law and matters affecting corporations, limited liabilities companies, and other business entities including formation, development, access to capital, strategic transactions, contracts, real estate, banking, bankruptcy, governance, and regulatory matters. His practice also includes the representation of individuals in matters involving real estate, contract law, asset protection, estate planning, probate, bankruptcy, elder law, and certain business and contractual related disputes.
Landon is very proud of his academic achievements during law school where he graduated Magna Cum Laude, with honors, and in the top 14% of his class. During law school, he served on the Editorial Board of the Law Review at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock – William H. Bowen School of Law where his article analyzing specific patent law was published in 2015.
Prior to attending law school, he gained over 5 years of experience in the oil and gas industry with such major corporations as Schlumberger, Baker Hughes, and Southwestern Energy focusing on wireline field engineering, production fluid chemistry, and environmental analysis. Landon earned a degree in Biology from Hendrix College in 2006.
Landon is excited to be back in Batesville with his wife Megan and their son Parker where his goal is to help local businesses and individuals navigate complex areas of the law in order to achieve the best possible outcome for each client. In describing his passion for business development and his community, he stated “The recent economic growth and development in Batesville and the community at large has been outstanding, and I want to help continue and even accelerate that trend by helping businesses and individuals provide the most value in their endeavors and maximize their potential.”
