Shannon Holloway Vaughan

Shannon Vaughan does not act in the best interest of her clients. PERIOD!! She did not act as though she represented me and allowed things to happen which had a huge impact, and she never contacted me about them....only found out afterward by her SECRETARY. Communication was not at all her strong s...uit.

I hired Shannon Holloway Vaughn to represent me in a child custody case. She said she would take the case for a total of $8,000.00. I paid her $4,000 up front and later made another payment of $1,000.00. Once Shannon had her money I practically never heard from her again. She did the minimum amount n...ecessary to keep my case going along but would never respond to my emails or return my phone calls. On one of her filings she incorrectly stated my child support so now I am over paying by three-hundred dollars every month! When I later became aggitated by her lack of work and attention I confronted her about the issues and she said she could no longer represent me! She then kept over $3,000.00 of my money after only having my case for a few weeks and spending very little time on it! I work in law enforcement and have many attorney friends who all agreed that Shannon's performance was extremely poor and they would never have treated a client in such a manner. I have now had to start over and retain a new attorney which has definitely been for the better but has come at a huge financial cost. I would not recommend Shannon Holloway or the Robertson Law Firm for any kind of legal service.

Shannon took over my divorce case after another attorney had started it (but never talked to me about its status). Shannon had a very short time to try to help and was able to make a difference in my case. She kept me informed of any changes/progress in my case. She is very knowledgeable and believe...s in doing the best she can to help her clients and their case. Definately would use her again, if the need arises and have recommended her to other family members and friends.

She was wonderful the first day, then completely unresponsive. I did not hire her and I got assigned to her because my lawyer left the firm. I only met her once because I set it up. She clearly did not want to respresent me and was very rude in our first meeting. I paid that firm $4,000 and they... did NOTHING. Shannon is RUDE and unresponsive and clearly DOES NOT care at all about her clients. Of course I had to leave and guess what they won't refund any money....STAY AWAY!!!
