Embarrassed

I hired Bonnie in 2010 to help with a divorce/custody issue and parental alienation. She did not list each of the complaints in the motion she submitted to the court, and when she tried asking questions related to those complaints, the opposing attorney objected and the judge sustained. She asked que...stions entirely unrelated to the subject matter of the case, embarrassed herself, embarrassed me and then told me "Oh well, I'll get him next time." She will say I was a "difficult client" because I took the time to draft the motion listing each of the complaints individually (as you're supposed to do) and asked her a ton of questions. But she knew better, wrote her own motion, then got reminded by the judge in the court that each complaint must be addressed in the motion to be heard before the court. I love my kids more than anything and was very concerned about what was happening to them. She was listed as a father's rights advocate, so I chose her. I wish I hadn't. Your mileage may vary...

As you can see from most of my other reviews, I work very hard for my clients. Even when they don't get the exact result they hoped for, most understand I cannot control the facts of my cases or the disposition of my clients, I can simply do the best job possible with those realities. When you reached out to me to represent you again, and I was unwilling to take you as a client again, I suspected you would leave a negative review. Nevertheless, I hope you and your children are doing well, and I hope you find peace in your situation.

Can't say enough good things....

We hired Bonnie in a visitation/custody battle and could not be more pleased with the outcome. Now, don't get me wrong....Bonnie Robertson's first instinct is always going to be to fight for what is in the child's best interest, even if that is not in full agreement with what you want. She listens ...and sometimes asks you the tough questions that make you get in touch with your true intentions...to help YOU make the right decisions for your child! With Bonnie on your side, you will never doubt her commitment to your case and to getting you a decision/settlement that you can be happy with. She, along with her staff (especially Amber) are easy to work with, accommodating, and helpful. In court, there is NO ONE in Little Rock better suited to be by your side. She is professional...but also a bit of a bulldog! Can't say enough good things about Bonnie Robertson and can't thank her enough for helping us find the best solution for our daughter.

Bonnie Robertson - Outstanding Family Law Attorney!

To set the stage, I hired Mrs Robertson to litigate my divorce in March of 2012 after dismissing my previous attorney. My divorce / custody case had become severe in that my three children with my ex wife were experiencing extreme parental alienation. It was heartbreaking to watch this situation to u...nfold.This alienation had resulted in a police investigation and 3 DHS hotline calls from the other party based on outlandish and false allegations, subsequently 2 of the hotline calls resulted in the DHS recommending that I be placed on a child maltreatment list. These hotline calls took place between July 2011 and June 2012. The children's mother kept using the DHS / CPS as a weapon to prevent me from having any contact with my children and it worked for a while. She accomplished this by keeping a protection order on me as long as these DHS cases were pending. Soon I found myself engaging Mrs Robertson to not only litigate my divorce and custody case but also 2 DHS appeals. Instead of getting better, the pressure began to mount in my case as Mrs. Robertson fought hard on each appeal while at the same time fighting very hard in the divorce / custody case. Due to her professional and tenacious method of litigating my DHS appeals, she was able to extract very important facts from the other party which proved that the entire DHS case was built on lies and deceit for the express purpose of alienating my children from me. Thanks to Mrs. Robertson's hard work and keen expertise in dealing with the agency, both DHS appeals were successfully overturned. My custody case continued beyond the final divorce proceedings and was far from over. Mrs Robertson had fought for psychological evaluations on the parties and our three children. Our request for evaluations was granted in spite of a tremendous fight from my ex wife and her uncooperative attorney waged to prevent it. However, after the ruling was handed down in the summer of 2012, my ex wife refused to submit to said evaluations. My ex wife's refusal to submit resulted in two hearings to force her to cooperate with these evaluations. The judge in my case was soft on placing too much pressure on the other party to submit possibly due to an ongoing DHS appeal on the 3rd hotline call. This Second and final appeal was successfully litigated by Mrs Robertson in the Spring of 2013. Finally in Sept. 2013, Mrs Robertson was successful in convincing the judge to force my ex wife to cooperate. These psychological evaluations were not completed until almost a year later due to further stalling and obfuscation by my ex wife which tested the tenacity and endurance of both myself and Mrs Robertson. Additionally, Mrs. Robertson was also successful in convincing the court to lift my three year "temporary" protection order! Finally, after three years, and in spite of seemingly insurmountable and impossible odds, Mrs Robertson has been successful in bringing a conclusion to the case as Im finally able to enjoy visitations with my youngest daughter. I would like to say that In my view, there is no attorney in the State of Arkansas that is more capable than Bonnie Robertson to litigate even the worst divorce / custody case, and quite frankly, I don't think there is a case worse than mine. Mrs Robertson is loyal, energetic, inciteful, tenacious, and professional. She also has an innate sense of the needs of children, and additionally, she supports father's rights. She is a highly principled attorney, but she knows how to fight hard and she is very shrewd in the court room. Scarce have I seen a person with her ability to store large volumes of information and recall the information so quickly and at will in the courtroom. Seldom do I leave the highest ratings in a review but I will make an exception here, and Mrs. Robertson deserves such a review. -Brian
