I dont even know how to express my sincerest gratitude towards this awesome man. He not only was able to obtain a very low sentence for my son who was arrested for transporting 12 kilograms of cocaine across state borders, but was always very compassionate, sympathetic and attentative to his needs. ... Being from another state made it very difficult for us to appear at most of my sons proceedings, yet Mr.Petty took charge with and without our support and never lost sight of the main objective: to get my son the lowest possible sentence. And I personally feel he did just that. My son received only an (8) eight-year prison for what he was accused of and I honestly can say, thru experience, that no other attorney could have gotten him anything lower! This man was my public defender about a year ago. He was amazing. He contacted me, sat up an appointment, went over my case with me and the day of court was able to have my case thrown out.
