I was between a rock the and a hard place when I had to find a lawyer within 2 weeks because the previous lawyer had quit at the worst possible time and left me with a high temporary payment . My divorce was rescheduled for right after Xmas which did not give me enough time to find a good lawyer. ...I was going through what could have been a very contentious divorce and custody battle. I found Mr. Carter a few days after New Years after another lawyer recommended him. He answered as many of my questions and took the time to look up my case so I did not have to explain everything. He immediately was able to get a continuance which gave me peace of mind and time to get all the discovery done. After the divorce, the child support was reduced substantially from 600 to 250. I still have to pay the arrears but a minimal amount until I get on my feet financially. I was able to get joint legal custody and feel that he will be able to help me with this in the future. I very much regret that I didn't find him sooner because could have saved thousands in payments. After the divorce , he answered all my questions while my brother was in a three way conversation. He was always generous with time estimates and breaks up the cost into 6 minute increments. I would recommend him to everyone unlike the previous lawyer who was no help.
