Brooke Wiggins is an unprofessional, uneducated, and deceitful attorney. She prioritized her own biases over the safety and well-being of the child. Prior to our court appearance, she provided a recommendation based entirely on hearsay. I had only spoken to her once, and that conversation did not per...tain to her recommendations. I informed Brooke about my ex-husband's concerning behavior, including exposing our child to inappropriate content, and I raised issues regarding mold in his home that negatively affects my daughter's breathing. I conveyed my worries about his lack of attentiveness and mentioned a previous incident where another child was sexually assaulted while he was supposed to be supervising. After sharing these serious concerns, Brooke seemed more interested in receiving payment than in representing my interests, as I had not paid her any fees. During the court proceedings, she chose to align herself with my ex-husband, ignoring everything I had communicated to her. Furthermore, her report failed to mention my concerns, and instead, she defended my ex-husband, seemingly out of spite for not receiving $250 from me. She was also displeased that I filed a motion to have her removed from the case due to her biased conduct. Brooke Wiggins is a detrimental figure; she shows no regard for the child's safety and welfare. I informed her that my ex-husband suffers from mental health issues and memory loss, yet she dismissed this information as well. In court, she falsely claimed that we had ongoing discussions, which was untrue. She lied about the presence of mold in my ex-husband's home and instead of recommending that the child remain in the care of her mother, she suggested the father should have custody. Additionally, she recommended that my parental rights be revoked, my visitation be terminated, and that I attend parenting, anger management, and reunification classes, all based on her personal dislike for me. She even asserted that I did not love my child, despite never having witnessed any interaction between me and my child. Additionally, when my child was with my ex-husband, she instructed him to block me, severing communication with my child. This resulted in a lack of contact prior to the court hearing. Brooke Wiggins has a track record of removing children from mothers' homes based on their outward appearance, which I find concerning. I hope that everyone she has acted against unethically will unite with me to take action to have her removed from her position or have her license revoked. Furthermore, Brooke was unable to demonstrate legally that I was an unfit mother; however, she awarded legal and physical custody to a father who is mentally unfit, suspended my rights, and suggested that I attend classes to obtain supervised visitation with my child. She failed to conduct a thorough investigation, as she would have discovered that my child resides with me the majority of the time, and I am the primary provider for my child. In court she also lied like there was not a case with one of the children getting sexually assaulted under his care. (Receipts of him acknowledging the mold, and exposing child to pornography)

Disrespectful

She is the worst. No integrity, no class, definitely shows discrimination. She answered the phone and cursed my friend out JUST FOR CALLING WITH QUESTIONS! My friend hired her and for 2.5 months we called for updates because she never showed up in court and still never updated my friend on his case.... She just kept pushing his court date back BUT still getting paid. I wouldn't hire this lady, her attitude is not where it should be when dealing with incarcerated loved ones. You're welcome.

Good Job

I am totally satisfied with Brook. Took time with me and my ignorance. Answered all questions and explained them to me. Considerate of my position. Truthful whether I liked it or not. I recommend her highly and consider her as my attorney.

Horrible Attorney

I hired Brooks Wiggins to handle a custody issue where the other parent fled the state with the child. Wiggins was told before hand that the defendant might flee and was repeatedly asked what to do in this event. She assured me it would not happen but if it did it would a death sentence for the defen...dants case. She said to contact her immediately if it happened. It did the following Friday. I called Wiggins all weekend and through the next week. She ignored all my phone calls and never called back. 2 days before the hearing I received a letter from Wiggins informing me she was quitting (which I did not see til after court). Judge Mackie Pierce held a closed session with Wiggins and the defendants attorney and allowed her to stop representing me 10 minutes before court. Not knowing she had been removed as my attorney I was down stairs filling paperwork. The judge immediately proceeded with my case with me in absentia and with no representation. She then billed me for the appearance anyway and refused to give me any documentation or files back in my case
