Biography
Jonathan Drilling Jones received his undergraduate education at Hendrix College in Conway and then received his Juris Doctorate from the UALR School of Law in Little Rock.
He has worked for firms such as Mitchell, Williams, Selig, Gates and Woodyard; the Pulaski County Prosecuting Attorneys Office; The Rose Law Firm; Ramsay, Brigforth, Starling, Gates & Woodard; and the Arkansas Electric Cooperative Corporation. He also practiced in Little Rock with Wilson & Associates in their property/title curative department, as well as for Tab Turner of Turner & Associates who specialize in Ford Explorer rollover and Firestone tread-separation cases before opening his own law firm in 2002, and then working with the Miller, Jones, and Churchwell law firm until late 2010.
He resumed his solo-practice at that time in order to provide the best possible legal representation to his clientele.
In addition, Mr. Jones is:

Property line dispute-- I my opinion 1 star is even to high of a rating

Replied last October 5, 2015This case was settled to the client's satisfaction. All issues were settled as a part of the parties' agreement with one exception, the issue of attorney's fees and costs. The court made an award for the other side and, after discussing her legal options with me, my client decided to appeal. Unfortunately, the Court of Appeals upheld the trial court's ruling. The frivolous and unwarranted review above is sadly the classic case of someone "shooting the messenger". My staff and I worked zealously to defended Tonie's rights in her real property and succeeded. The filing of bankruptcy was a decision made solely by the client, based on her prior financial decisions and existing credit issues. I have handled numerous real property cases over my 13+ years as an attorney and had great success. However, all cases are not created equal and some do result in a less-than-desired outcome. There is inherent risk associated with the legal process and this fact should be considered prior to the filing of any lawsuit.
