Review for Alvin C Dowden
I presented my very complicated case to Mr. Dowden and he accepted my case. I was selling my land in Louisiana to a buyer in California, and I live in Virginia. Within a week the 1st 15 acres was sold, my money wired into my account and the land was in the new owner's name. The remaining 5 acres was quite complicated, do to successions that had never been completed and most people had passed away. Mr. Dowden called my relatives in order to get signed documents, sent for death certificate's, etc. He and his staff went beyond what anyone else ever would have, in order to finalize the sale of the remaining 5 acres. It was completed in an above average time frame. I would strongly recommend Mr. Dowden to anyone with out-of-state legal matters, as well as Louisiana residents. I am more than pleased with every aspect of Mr. Dowden, his staff and the law office of Dowden & Smith, LLC.
