She was assigned after I signed with a firm she was an associate of. It was 7 weeks after signing and paying retainer before I was contacted on a Friday afternoon at 4:27 pm to meet on Saturday and talk about previously scheduled hearing the following Monday morning. She advised I needed to contact t...wo financial institutes and a title company and submit for review before my 9:00 hearing. She advised I settle without the knowledge of what assets were actually were or worth. She threatened that if I came to court she would not sign on as my attorney and would not refund my money. She seemed more interested in keeping opposing counsel happy than actually listening to the firms client. She was not asked to sign up as my attorney. Although I did nothing wrong, it put a blemish on my name for being difficult. When asked to send out discovery for financials the responded answer from said company was a simple one sentence statement. I asked for a copy of what questions were asked to locate said financials as I felt the question of have they ever had an account? When was it set up? Terminated? Offered? Denied? More details. I never received such. Sad.
