Allen Cooper grew up in the Shreveport area. He graduated from Caddo Magnet High School in 1984. He graduated from LSU Shreveport with honors in 1988. Finally, he graduated from the LSU Law Center in 1991, where he won the American Jurisprudence Award in Insurance Law and was on the Cancellor's List. Mr. Cooper then returned to Shreveport to practice law. He has spent most of his legal career helping injured people, injured workers and disabled people. He has now practiced law in the Shreveport area for over 25 years.
