Biography
William "Billy" Murray, Jr. was born and raised in Shreveport, Louisiana. He graduated from Louisiana State University in Shreveport in 2004 with a Bachelors Degree in Accounting and in 2005 with a Masters of Business Administration. He graduated from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University in 2010 with a Juris Doctorate and Diploma of Civil Law. While at LSU Law, he served as the LSU Trial Advocacy Board President, was a member of the LSU Moot Court Board, and won First Place in the Ira S. Flory Trial Advocacy Competition. He has been named as a "Top Lawyer" by SB Magazine annually from 2011-2022 and a Super Lawyers "Rising Star" annually from 2018-2023.
