Hello. Thank you for visiting my profile on Avvo. I am a new attorney, licensed in both Texas & Louisiana. I am from Louisiana, lived in Texas, for a little over 8 years, and recently moved back to Louisiana.
I have a wide range of interests. Though I have always had a great concern for justice and what it means, I avoided law school for years, because I believed many of the stereotypes about the profession. Some of the stereotypes are true, of course (I am a really big fan of lawyer jokes), but there are so many redeeming aspects of the practice, that it has become something that I absolutely love. Being a lawyer is hard work, truly, but it is worth it, and everyday I am grateful that I chose the legal profession. I thoroughly enjoy helping people solve problems, so that they can be free of worry to enjoy life to its fullest!
