Sometimes Good People Make Mistakes

In today’s world it seems that a lifetime of good deeds can be totally compromised by one bad action. We all know that a simple “mistake” can put a persons future In jeopardy (being denied good jobs, stigmatized by those around you, being forced to live with regrets etc). So when I received a ca...ll that my youngest sister would soon appear in a criminal court (facing a misdemeanor conviction) I decided it was time to hire the best attorney that I could find. She and I both knew a criminal conviction could potentially ruin the chances of her becoming a doctor (and all the many years of hard work that she spent putting herself through college would be in vain). After a short conversation and discussing the facts it was obvious that Mr. Gill was the attorney that she needed. He started by giving us a genuine peace of mind and we fully believed that he was going to do everything in his power to resolve this issue. And resolving the issue is exactly what he did! Mr. Gill accomplished everything that he said he would do. He fought for us, and when the fight was over my sister got her future back... We truly appreciate your hard work, and know that it will not be forgotten. Thank you Sir,

Criminal defense lawyer | Feb 08

Relationship: Co-worker

"I endorse this lawyer. Robby is one of the best attorneys before a jury I have ever seen. He prepares for every contingency and is flexible enough when the heat is on to make the critical adjustments necessary to win his cases. His outstanding ability has no peer in the area of voir dire (jury selection), and every attorney knows this is the most important part of every trial. Robby is always eager to take on the most serious types of cases and allegations leveled against our clients, without hesitation. He is the strongest advocate you can find in our state when you need it most for someone in your family accused of charges that will ruin their life. His greatest strength is his ability to reach out to a jury and empower them to find justice for his clients, especially when those jurors face pressure from the prosecution and police to convict. Robby, from Denham Springs, has a state-wide practice and maintains a vibrant and an extremely busy practice in the Florida Parishes."

Criminal defense lawyer | Nov 09

Relationship: Co-worker

"Robby is hands down the best criminal defense lawyer handling sex crimes cases that I have ever encountered. His depth of experience is rarely matched by other practitioners and his "down to earth" personality connects with juries. Robby has handled numerous high profile criminal defense jury trials and is a rigorous cross-examiner. Robby's jury trial experience has helped many people hurt in car accident get maximum recovery for their injuries. If you are looking for a true trial lawyer to present your car wreck case to a jury, look no further."

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
