It is hard to put into words what Attorney Elzie Alford has done for me. If you ever have the misfortune of going before the Medical Board, you will find that it is the most intimidating and stressful experience of your medical career. I felt that Mr. Alford understood the process and that he understood my case, but the Director was not willing to budge on my consent decree. So, I decided to take my case to trial before the board and I could not believe it but we won. And I say this because if you ever go before the Board you will definitely feel like they are out to get you. But Mr. Alford really understood the medical issues and he did a great job keeping me calm during the hearing. This is probably one of the most nerve-racking experiences you will ever have to go through as a doctor and having someone experienced to walk you through this process that is not afraid to take your case to trial is a godsend. I pray that I never go before the Board again, but I couldn't have asked for a better experience with Attorney Alford.

I am a Louisiana dentist. I had an issue with my billing practices surrounding two surgeries. At the time, I was facing a possible suspension and a $80k fine. I was in danger of having my medical license suspended by the Louisiana Board of Medical Examiners and my previous lawyers recommended that I take a temporary suspension. I felt very uncomfortable taking a suspension when I had done nothing wrong. Mr. Alford was recommended to me by a friend.
