also known as Chase Trichell
Charles “Chase” Logan Trichell was born and raised in Natchitoches, Louisiana and attended St. Mary’s Catholic School, where he was a standout athlete in football, basketball, and golf. After graduating with honors, Chase studied at LSU, where he served as philanthropy chairman for Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity. Chase was also appointed student advisory councilman for the Center for Community, Engagement, and Leadership; became a member of the Student Tiger Athletic Foundation; was selected to join the Phi Sigma Pi Honor Society; was named to both the Dean’s List and Chancellor’s Honor Roll on multiple occasions; and ultimately earned his Bachelor of Arts in English with a concentration in Creative Writing in 2011.
Chase then enrolled at LSU Paul M. Hebert Law Center, where he was elected by the student body to serve as the Student Bar Association’s Executive Director of Programming. During law school, Chase had the distinct honor of being selected as the judicial intern at the First Judicial District Court of Louisiana under the direct tutelage of Justice Scott J. Crichton, current Louisiana Supreme Court Justice. A member of the LSU Law Running Club and Phi Alpha Delta law fraternity, Chase played quarterback for the Purple Team in Barrister’s Bowl VIII, IX, and X — the school’s annual tackle football game pitting Purple vs. Gold to raise money for the Make-A-Wish foundation. Chase earned both his Juris Doctor and Graduate Diploma in Comparative Law from LSU in 2014.
According to his family, which calls him “The People’s Lawyer,” Chase was born to practice law. Trained as a personal injury attorney, Chase has earned a reputation in his young career as an extremely hard worker who loves interacting with his clients. He prides himself on putting the interests of his clients first and always being there when they need him. Chase joined Spencer Calahan Injury Lawyers in 2016 and brings to the team a genuine passion for practicing law and representing people, not corporations. He is an active member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, the Baton Rouge Bar Association, and is licensed to practice law in all 64 of Louisiana’s great parishes.
Chase is the third of four boys and is the very proud uncle of two nieces and two nephews. Anyone who knows Chase knows that nothing matters more to him than family — but LSU sports are a close second. He never misses a home game in Death Valley or an opportunity to play golf. In his spare time, Chase enjoys running the LSU Lakes, playing basketball, and volunteering at The First Tee of Baton Rouge and for the Big Buddy Program.
