Antonio Dwayne Sparks

Antonio was my husband's public defender and he did NOT Adequately defend or fight for him. As a matter of fact he did not do anything that my husband requested of him, he did not submit fact to the record in my husband's defense, he did Not prepare my husband his client for trial he basically set hi...m up for failure and it's ashame he could be allowed to do so. He did Not after my husband requested him to submit something to the acting judge on this case to protect my husband's due process... he did not object to anything that the judge said knowing it was hear say and he allowed hersay to be seen as factual evidence he did not provide my husband with documentation letting him know what the state was accusing him of, and based on what grounds, he did not disclose evidence if there was any to my husband as I said he set him up for failure and did absolutely nothing at all to try and help him . I would not recommend this attorney he does not understand that he represents the defendant and not the state .you might as well be prepared to loose your case even if you do as I did and get everything together for him and hand him over the case this man still did nothing with what he was given to help build a defense. We most definitely filed for dispensary action with the louisiana bars association seeking reprimand for his lack of and failure to Adequately defend and do the job and service he was suppose to provide. Hopefully something get done about it immediately.
