Biography
Janeane Gorcyca Abbott is a native of Goshen, New York. In 2010, she graduated from Centenary College of Louisiana with a B.A. in History. In May of 2014, she graduated from Southern University Law Center, earning a Juris Doctor. Janeane was admitted to practice in Louisiana in 2015. She is currently a member of the American Bar Association, the Louisiana State Bar Association and the Baton Rouge Bar Association. Janeane was named the Louisiana State Bar Association, Young Lawyers Division Pro Bono Attorney of the year in 2017.
Janeane is an active member of the Baton Rouge Community, the Baton Rouge Bar Association, The Livingston Parish Bar Association, and enjoys dedicating her free time to community service activities.
