"A good name is more desirable than great riches; to be esteemed is better than silver or gold." Proverbs 22:1
Attorney Corey Orgeron believes that caring for his clients well being is more important that the riches sought by other attorneys. He places his clients' well being above his own and has done so for 25 years.
Corey Orgeron was born in New Orleans and was raised along Bayou Lafourche. He learned how to treat others with compasion from his family, in particular his parents and grandparents. They continuously reminded him that he was placed on this Earth to serve, and he's never forgotten their teachings.
Corey is an Honors Graduate of South Lafourche High School. He received a B.S. from Louisiana State University in 1987 and earned his Law Degree from Louisiana State University in 1990. Mr. Orgeron was admitted to the Louisiana Bar Association in October 1990 and admitted to practice in all three United States District Courts in 1991. Mr. Orgeron has successfully argued before Louisiana Circuit Courts of Appeal and before the Louisiana Supreme Court. In addition to practicing before all three United States District Courts of the State of Louisiana, he has argued before the United States Court of Appeal, 5th Circuit and 4th Circuit.
Mr. Orgeron has practiced before the Social Security Administration for two decades, defending the rights of the physically, mentally and emotionally disabled. His practice is dedicated to aiding individuals that have been injured and protecting the rights of consumers.
Mr. Orgeron has served as lector in a number of continuing legal seminars and has provided a People’s Law School for the general public. He currently provides Pro Bono legal work for those unable to afford counsel.
Corey is married and the proud father of three children. He is active in his church, with the Boy Scouts and in local youth sports as a coach. He is an avid LSU Tiger fan and enjoys hunting and fishing in the great Louisiana outdoors.

After consulting with Mr. Orgeron we decided to hire him as a consultant to get our small business off the ground. Not only did he share his knowledge with us he made sure that he spent the first dollar in our shop. In my opinion you will never find a more compassionate attorney.
