This review is from a person who hired this attorney.

Empathetic and thorough!

I hired her as my divorce attorney. It was a simple divorce but I was so moved by her ability to treat my case with expertise while still maintaining a warm persona in our interactions.

Can't thank her enough

Lesley represented me in my custody case and I really can't thank her enough. She knew what she was talking about, she kept me informed throughout the whole process, and she was patient with me at a time when I was really worried about my kids and not the easiest guy to talk to. Not to mention the ...fact that she really kicked the other attorney's a**. I would recommend her to anyone and I owe her a lot of gratitude.

Couldn't have been more impressed

I used Lesley as my attorney in my divorce, and I couldn't be more thankful for her help. She was kind and sympathetic but matter of fact at the same time. She answered every question I had, was really accessible, and she made a very emotional and upsetting time so much easier for me. Over the... course of two years she always met me early before court hearings, explained the next steps, and advised me on the law in a way I could understand. She never was afraid to go head-to-head with the other attorney. I now trust her so much, and I would recommend her to anyone.

dropped the ball

I had originally gone to her while I was still pregnant to ask some general questions about custody. I ended up not needing anything from her for about 9-10 months and I figured I would have another face to face meeting with her before we filed anything, but I was wrong. She only wanted to talk thro...ugh e-mail, which I didn't have very easy access to at the time. I called her once because I had an urgent problem/question, and had to leave a message. That was fine, but she never called me back. Somehow one of her partners ended up with my my message and he called, but that obviously wasn't helpful. She never got the message and never called. I didn't actually see her until conciliation at which time she showed up almost 5 minuts late. Bottom line I wouldn't recommend the entire firm to anyone, ever!!

More confused!

I went to her firm for advice and I left there more confused than before. My question was about fair child support modification, which I have been paying 100% of since early 2004, and she turned it into more of a child custody conversation. Not only that, she made me felt like my parenting skills... were at question due to the fact that I allow my kids to make educated decisions on their own; even though I try to provide them all the information they need to make a decision, both good and bad. Also, when I tried to mention laws that I read I got the "how dare you quote me the law. I already know the law, you don't need to tell me" attitude. I was not trying to tell her what she already knows, but was trying to understand if what I read was how things were handled. Not too sure if I would recommend her or the firm to anyone. But if I was treated like a moron, it is hard to say how many other people she treats that way.
