Eric Scott Neumann

Eric Neumann, Attorney at Law, provides representation to clients throughout the State of Louisiana and primarily in the Acadiana region (Parishes of Lafayette, Acadia, Vermilion, Iberia, St. Martin, St. Mary and St. Landry).

Eric has successfully represented his clients for over 25 years with compassion and results and is committed to establishing lasting relationships with clients by providing exceptional legal representation through personal attention and responsiveness.

Eric S. Neumann is a native of Lafayette, who attended Louisiana State University. After receiving his Bachelor of Science, Finance in 1987, Eric received his Juris Doctor Degree from the Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center in 1991. Eric was admitted to the Louisiana State Bar on April 10, 1992.
After admission to the practice of law, Eric served by appointment for a year as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Judge Edward A Delahoussaye, III, 16th Judicial District Court, State of Louisiana, and the Honorable Judge Cheney C. Joseph, 16th Judicial District Court, State of Louisiana. He thereafter entered private practice concentrating in the area of insurance defense and opened his private practice in August 1994, concentrating in the areas of Bankruptcy, Family Law and Criminal Defense. ​Eric is also Capital Case Certified by the Supreme Court of the State of Louisiana to provide representation to criminal defendants in death penalty cases.

Presently Eric provides representation through his private office in areas of family law and also serves in Lafayette Parish as an Assistant District Attorney.
